Crop Walk
Sunday October 23, 2pm.
The annual interfaith Crop Walk on the bike path will be held Sunday afternoon October 23 at 2 PM. Crop Walk raises money to help provide food and clean water; a quarter of the dollars raised aid the Athens Food Bank, and three quarters goes to Church World Service to diminish hunger abroad through religious charitable action.
You may specify the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee to receive your donation. Please pledge to give by signing with Anne Cooper or Lois Whealey.
Donors and walkers will meet at the Peden Stadium parking lot near the Richland Avenue bridge. Crop Walk has been coordinated for years by Danny Moates of the Athens Presbyterian Church.
