Guest at Your Table Wrap-Up

Many thanks to the 14 donors at UUFA who contributed a total of $525 to the annual “Guest at Your Table” fund drive of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee this year! UUSC is celebrating 75 years of social action for human rights by recalling the 1940 rescue, by the then-new Unitarian Service Committee, of nearly 30 people from Nazi clutches. Recent pictures of two of the rescued children, now, 75 years later, appeared on the 2015 GaYT boxes. This is  a poignant reminder that is especially appropriate now because of today’s appalling refugee crisis caused by the conflict in Syria.

General Assembly 2016

UU General Assembly is going to be held in Columbus , OH this year – June 22-26. Please consider attending and or presenting to represent UUFA. At our annual meeting we will vote on sending our 2 delegates, but since it is so close this year perhaps we can have a greater attendance. http://www.cerguua.org/events-90926/cergevents-1879/731-ga16.html
