David Bruce Bowman memorial services Saturday, September 7, 2013 at UUFA
David Bruce Bowman (65) passed away on Friday, August 9th in Emerald Isle, NC. David and his wife Liz are valued friends of the UUFA and David was the father of Jeremy & Robin Bowman , and father in law to Jen Bowman and Grandfather to Andrew and Ethan Bowman all of whom are committed and active members of our fellowship community. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013. The family has requested that those in attendance bring a potluck dish as a meal will be shared following the memorial services.
The memorial will be officiated by our former pastor, Reverend Evan Young. As you know Reverend Young officially resigned from service to the fellowship as of June 30th, 2013. In accordance with the covenant between Rev. Young and UUFA, this pastoral care issue was referred to our Committee on Ministry and at their recommendation UUFA contracted Reverend Young.
