UUFA Announcements for December 31, 2017 – Happy New Year !

Good Afternoon UUFA Members and Friends,

As we prepare to say farewell to 2017 it’s important to accentuate the positive in our fellowship community.  UUFA has had a great year because of the many contributions of members and friends.  We’ve completed the office renovations, started a choir, hired RE instructors, established a children’s garden, and provided fresh produce to Community Food Initiatives Donation Station. Members stood in solidarity with other Athenians to protest the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville,VA. We co-sponsored Interfaith Amigos, and continued our monthly collection for the Athens Food Pantry.  There are other successes that aren’t identified here but I believe that they also demonstrate the strong, vibrant community we have together. We have much to give.  I look forward to navigating UUFA’s service to our community and our world with you.

Peace, love and light to you, your loved ones, and our world in 2018.

Barb Harrison, Recorder

Happy New Year

“Let this be the year
we fully welcome the world,
and treat her right,
and lift our glasses in a toast to her,
and thank her,
and keep our resolutions,
and mean it when we say,
Joy to the World.”
