The June collection for the Athens County Food Pantry (ACFP) totaled $113.00. This brings the total contributions for this year to $381.00. On behalf of the ACFP, Charlie Barman expresses his thanks for all who have contributed. We also thank Charlie for helping collect these donations on behalf of the UUFA!
As a member of the Southeast Ohio Regional Foodbank, [ACFP has] the ability to purchase food at a tremendous savings–many items at a cost of 19 cents per pound. So, your $1 donation could purchase up to five boxes of cereal! A $15 donation will feed a family of four for three days.
