The UUFA was again very generous in donating to the Athens County Food Pantry. This past Sunday we netted $82.00. This brings our total contribution for this year to $268.00. Thanks to all who have contributed! Thanks to Charlie Barman for collecting the donations!
As a member of the Southeast Ohio Regional Foodbank, [Athens Country Food Pantry has] the ability to purchase food at a tremendous savings–many items at a cost of 19 cents per pound. So, your $1 donation could purchase up to five boxes of cereal! A $15 donation will feed a family of four for three days.
