Here’s a chance to support women’s reproductive rights. Wednesday, October 2, women’s rights advocates will protest HB 200 at the Ohio Statehouse at 11:30 AM. The message is “WE WON’T GO BACK!” Lois Whealey has more information. UU Justice Ohio is among dozens of co-sponsors of the rally.
HB 200 aims to make safe and legal abortions harder to get (raising the current 24 hour waiting period to 48 hours; mandating doctors to tell women FALSELY that there is a connection between abortion and breast cancer;requiring doctors to report how much money they gained by providing abortions; possible fines of a million dollars for not following the law).
