To all who seek and enjoy the UUFA fellowship weekly, monthly, or whenever you are able, please join the congregation April 6 for our traditional Cake Walk immediately following service. This is a fun and delicious affair for all. Bakers show off their best work while others reap the tasty benefits of their contributions. We’ll provide some healthy nibbles to stave off the hungries.
Don’t eat gluten or sweets. Well, we will have some savory and gluten free items as well. Or think of purchasing a delicious home baked item to share with loved ones or friends who can’t join us.
We are going to organize the Cake Walk more similar to a few years ago. There will be the Silent Auction items where highest silent bidder takes the prize home. But it wouldn’t be Cake Walk Sunday without a live auction as well. There are those who prepare sweets that have become coveted over the years and those new items that are just so special we can’t let them go without a rousing bidding exchange. So come in a bidding mood and don’t forget your $$$ or check books (no credit cards please).
It isn’t too late to sign up to bring your special creation or just bring it next Sunday. We’ll make room.
