Giving Up Buddhism, with Nate Kojun Hayes

Sunday, May 28th, at 11am:

“Giving Up Buddhism”
with Nate Kojun Hayes

Many years ago, when Kojun informed his teacher that he had formally joined their Zen Center in Los Angeles, she responded, “Great! One more thing for you to give up someday.” Confused, Kojun filed it away, hoping time would solve his teacher’s perplexing response.

Join Kojun this Sunday as he talks about the life-changing practice of letting go and giving up. He’ll share the struggles in letting go of regrets and joys of his past, hopes and fears about the future, and how his meditation practice has helped him handle life’s unexpected twists and turns.

He will offer a simple and easy guided meditation after his talk

The service will be in-person (facemarks optional) and by Zoom.

Aspirational deadline for each week: SUNDAY 3pm or before publication, whichever comes last.  Thanks!
