This month with the RE, we planted flowers, learned about seeds, played games about the circle of life, explored ways that we care for the environment, made up superhero games based on plant names. We also celebrated Beltane together with the congregation dancing around the Maypole. We celebrated the Buddhist Theravada New Year with a picture/movement game that explores symbols and values of Buddhism. We continued making up group games to embody the 7 UU Principles. This coming month, we’re looking forward to celebrating the Jewish holiday Shavu’ot, Father’s Day, the Summer Solstice, and more.
