During the month of November and December the Children’s RE program will be exploring various Hanukkah traditions: learning about the Star of David, lighting a Menorah, playing games with dreidels, singing songs, and feasting on Latkes (Dec. 1). All are welcome!

This Sunday, we took up a collection for the UUSC-UUA Joint Philippines Typhoon Haiyan Relief Fund. We raised $97.25. If you missed the collection, you may donate online at uusc.org, or send a check to UUSC, PO Box 808, Newark, NJ 07101-0808.

This year the fellowship had five people walking representing 15 donors for a total of $392. It was a gorgeous fall day to walk. A few more pledges should be coming in that will raise an additional $100 for the Athens County Food Bank. Thanks to everyone for their support!
